Breakfast is an exciting time – you break your sleep fast with a delicious warm glass of lemon water to flush the sleepiness and toxins collected during the night out and then look for something good to eat. I love eating including fresh fruit, mainly berries in my breakfast as well as a little almond yogurt and organic low-sugar granola, or if I’ve just completed a morning workout I throw the berries in a blender with Rice Protein Powder, Bee Pollen, unsweetened vanilla Almond Milk (available at Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Ralph’s etc.) – which I make into kefir with a Kefir Starter, Stevia, Vitamineral Greens, Maca, Hemp Seeds, Cacao and Frozen Unsweetened Acai. Sounds crazy right? Well let me tell you that it has me purring away for hours, but especially as I sip it on my big round chair in the sun.
This morning in particular, I wasn’t so hungry until I got to work, where I had brought a dragonfruit gifted to me. I cut up some strawberries, added some crushed cacao beans and stevia, and I was in absolute breakfast heaven! Don’t forget to listen to what your body loves to eat, and what makes it purr. Also keep in mind that the more whole, vibrant foods you eat, the more you will crave them, and the more you will be fascinated by them!
